Last Thursday, the 30th of July 2009, took place the Run-off election for the Grand Chief and the Deputy Grand Chief of Eeyou Istchee.
Soleica had the pleasure to support the team of the Chief Electoral Office and to assist with the display of the results until the last vote was counted.
Matthew Coon Come was elected Grand Chief with 63.08 % of the votes.
Ashley Iserhoff was elected Deputy Grand Chief with 52.87 % of the votes.
