With its airport, Puvirnituq is both the crossroads on the eastern shore of the Hudson’s Bay and the gateway to some of the more remote communities. Visitors will not want for comfort. The village has two hotels and restaurants, two general stores, and is home to the Inuulitsivik Health Centre. The odds are that tourists will not have enough time to enjoy all the attractions and local activities.
